Definition:
The
Mossop Philosophy is a revolutionary new science whereby the infinite energy of
plants is used to harmonise and balance the disturbances of humanity on all
levels of consciousness: Spiritual, Mental, Emotional and Physical.
PHILOSOPHY
The
Mossop Philosophy was developed by Prof. Dame Diana Mossop, who with remarkable
inspiration and insight combined with many years of hard work and research
found that plants had an extraordinary healing power which, if properly
harnessed, could supply the world with a solution to its health problems.
Following the classic discoveries of Dr. E Bach who had already shown how many
adverse emotional states could be corrected by the use of flower remedies, Dame
Diana, by using modified measuring techniques of Reinhard Voll, promoted flower
essences to their rightful place by placing them on a sounder footing.
The
Mossop Philosophy co-ordinates the ancient wisdom of the planet with modern
lifestyles in order to treat the resultant disturbing mutant health
conditions.
The
Mossop Philosophy is a revolutionary new method of health treatment, which uses
the power of plants to redress imbalance on all levels of consciousness.

The Mossop Philosophy:
A science
and a philosophy.
The
Mossop Philosophy provides a unique and comprehensive method of analysing,
treating and researching health disturbances. The philosophy includes the use
of the energy of flowers to harmonise imbalances, the galvanometer to test
acupuncture points and energy fields and a gentle, non-invasive yet
sophisticated method of treating patients by Podo-Rhacidian Mobilisation
Therapy and specialised Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
COURSE SYLLABUS
The
course syllabus will cover the study of the following elements:
AN
UNDERSTANDING OF THE PHYTOBIOPHYSICS® FOOD SUPPLEMENT FORMULAS
The
Mossop Philosophy: is a new and comprehensive science of human physiology,
behaviour, health, disease and treatment. It is based on a holistic
understanding of man and encapsulates many traditional concepts such as the
microcosm reflecting the macrocosm. This particular truth is vital to the full
understanding of how one part of the body may be reflected in another and how
the person may vacillate from one type of behaviour to another. It also helps
to explain why an invasive agent such as bacterium or virus may repeatedly
follow a particular route of infectivity.
Since The
Mossop Philosophy sees a person as quintessentially an energetic system, albeit
in a manifestly physical body, it is not surprising that its primary
therapeutic tools are the Energy Harmonisers in a non-material remedy
delivering a specific vibration. The remedy is carried in a tablet or solution
in which the energetic pattern is imprinted. The Energy Harmonisers are
prepared from flowers from which the vibratory force is transferred into water
by being exposed to the natural forces from the sun and moon. Unlike homeopathic remedies they contain no
substance, neither are they potentised nor prescribed on the basis of the
similimum. The energy of the remedy may, however, be amplified.
Other
therapeutic methods may also be used as required and the philosophy recognises the importance of any treatment
that is not in itself inimical to health or contrary to the natural order of
things. The Mossop Philosophy is inevitably opposed to harsh, invasive or toxic
treatments which it sees as being merely palliative or suppressive and
ultimately harmful.
THE HEART LOCK THEORY
The Heart
Lock Theory is an accurate method of assessing constitution as a result of the
spiritual, mental, emotional and physical journey through life. An important
and fundamental principle of The Mossop Philosophy is the understanding of the
relevance of the spiritual, emotional and mental aspects of the individual as
well as that of the more obvious physical body. Adverse factors such as toxins,
infective organisms and physical trauma may manifestly do damage to the
physical body; yet the deepest and most serious disorders are to be found in
other aspects of our being, culminating in the spiritual dimension. This may be
readily understood and graphically illustrated by the eight `locks' or energy
blocks that may occur. A recent discovery has revealed that the energy which
constantly moves the blood and passes through the heart may be blocked in any
one of the four chambers. Personality and symptomology is profoundly influenced
by the location of the lock and the level on which it exercises its influence.
ENERGY HARMONISERS.
The 100 hedgerow Elementals
Energy
Harmonisers are flower and plant essences that are used to antidote the trauma
of pollution, disease taint, inoculation taint, accidental genetic engineering,
mutated virus and cell disturbance, emotional trauma and spiritual trauma.
Whilst the Harmonisers have an active physical effect on the circulatory and
nervous system, they also have an instant effect on the consciousness.
The
Mossop Philosophy is a valuable adjunct to all other methods of treatment in
that the application of the philosophy confirms other diagnosis and analysis
and aids the therapeutic treatment of the patient.
PHYTOBIOPHYSICS® FLOWER FORMULAS
The Mossop
Philosophy is a comprehensive and
holistic approach to healing the traumas of modern society such as social
breakdown, toxic overload, stress and destruction. It is Diana's belief that
the key to survival is adaptability. She believes that the plants that grow in
the environment of today have developed immunity to the pollution and problems
of their environment. When energy from the flowers is harnessed and used in the
form of an Energy Harmoniser, the captured vibration from the plant acts to
stimulate neurotransmission which effectively passes on the plants immunity to
the environment, to harmonise and balance the patient.
Diana, recognising the need for safe and
effective formulas that obviate the need of prescription and pose no threat to
the patient, has thus created ranges of food supplements called PHYTOBIOPHYSICS® Formulas. Chosen by colour level and simple code, the
formulas offer a powerful but gentle, safe, effective first line of defense.
The Flower Formulas have been created by
combining the vibration of flowers from all over the world to produce a
symphony of energy which has then been amplified to produce a formula of a very
precise specification. These twenty formulas are the ‘binary code’ of the
Philosophy and can be combined to produce personalized formulation according to
every individual’s needs.
Whilst the formulas can be used safely by
everyone, the skill of the practitioner in combining the formulas correctly
produces an extra dimension for the patient.
The 10 Superfit Formulas have been made by
combining the energy of essences made from nuts, seeds, berries bark and cones
of magnificent old trees
GALVANOMETER ENERGY HARMONISER TESTER.
A
Galvanometer is a small portable, battery-operated piece of equipment, calibrated to read the electrical resistance
of acupuncture points in micro-amps. It is an invaluable multi-purpose form of
testing used to validate and test the Flower Formulas. A sensitive galvanometer
is connected to the patient and the circuit completed by applying a probe to a
point to be tested. A normal reading is established and subsequent readings may
be found to be high, which is indication of inflammation, or low, which is
indication of degeneration. Placing
toxins or other substances within the circuit may also influence readings. The
correct remedy placed in the circuit will bring an aberrant reading back to
normal. In this way plant remedies have been identified as specific for certain
conditions as well as antidotes to specific toxins. Any therapeutic technique
may be assessed in this manner by taking a reading before and after treatment.
An appropriate treatment will improve or rectify a previously aberrant reading.
During
the course there will be an explanation of Voll acupuncture points and the
philosophy of allergy testing. The
course will enable you to use the Energy Harmoniser Tester for a variety of
purposes; for testing the Flower Energy Harmonisers as antidotes and for
general allergy testing. Acupuncturists
will have the added facility of testing acupuncture points. Basic source points and treatment points
will be discussed.
ELECTRICAL MUSCLE TESTING
A manual method of muscle testing required
for assessment is taught in order to facilitate the correct response.
PODO-RHACIDIAN MOBILISATION THERAPY
Podo-Rhacidian
is a gentle non-invasive mobilisation technique which allows the body to
re-adjust postural and structural misalignment without the use of manipulation
or force. This therapy is adjunctive to
use of Energy Harmonisers and Flower Formulas, therefore training is restricted to practitioners qualified
in Anatomy and Physiology. Although the Energy Harmonisers are the principle
remedies used within the Mossop Philosophy it has always been obvious that
patients are greatly in need of having musculo-skeletal lesions corrected.
VERETEBRAL
PODO-RHACIDIAN THERAPY
The
correction of spinal lesions is induced by mobilising the peripheral joints of
the hands and feet. Essentially the cervical vertebrae are related to the first
[big] toe, the first seven thoracic vertebrae to the 2nd toe, the lower five
thoracic vertebrae to the 3rd [middle] toe, the lumbar vertebrae to the 4th toe
and the sacrum and coccyx to the 5th toe.
CRANIAL
PODO-RHACIDIAN THERAPY
Cranial
lesions involving the cranial nerves, correlating to the sacrum are treated in
the same manner. When Cranial Podo-Rhacidian therapy is carried out there is a
release of stored toxins into the system. For this reason training is
restricted to practitioners holding necessary qualifications inclusive of Basic
Anatomy and Physiology and to those who could receive the correct antidote in
the way of Energy Harmonisers.
SINUS/TONSIL
PODO-RHACIDIAN THERAPY
There is
an important connection between the teeth, the sinuses and the tonsils. The
sinuses and tonsils are related and are effectively treated using the same
methodology as Podo-Rhacidian Therapy.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC STIMULATION THERAPY
A healthy
lymphatic system is vital for wellbeing. The course will qualify you to use The
Mossop Philosophy Manual Lymphatic Stimulation Therapy clinically. It is a
valuable method of assisting the body to function well. Manual Lymphatic Therapy must be carefully
controlled by conducting a series of tests throughout the treatment, either by
muscle testing or by using the galvanometer tester.
THE QUICK LYMPH EXERCISE
The Quick
Lymph stimulation treatment is a 5min exercise that all practitioners must
learn to practice themselves as part of their daily routine, however it should
be taught to every patient.
THE DIPLOMA OF THE MOSSOP PHILOSOPHY
The
standard for obtaining a Diploma has been laid down by both the Institute of
Phytobiophysics® and the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and was recognised and accredited by The Guild of Complementary Practitioners

THE BASIC
INTRODUCTORY COURSE [BIC] INTRODUCTION
TO THE FOOD SUPPLEMENTS PHYTOBIOPHYSICS
FLOWER FORMULAS AND SUPERFIT TREE FORMULAS
• The
BIC is a fascinating two-day course open to everyone.
• No
qualifications are required to attend this course.
• This
course is obligatory for practitioners since no
further
training will be offered unless the practitioner
has
already attended the Basic Introductory Course. [BIC]
3. 100 HEDGEROW ELEMENTALS [FLOWERS
ESSENCES].
The 100
Hedgerow Elementals [Flower Essences] are mother tinctures of a wide variety of
flowers, berries and fungi collected from countryside of Britain and the
Channel Islands. They offer the practitioner an astoundingly accurate and
infinitely profound opportunity to analyse their patient’s emotional frame of
mind. These essences are referred to as Energy Harmonisers and are the vital
building blocks of health analysis acting as pointers to causal factors. The
100 Hedgerow Elementals are matched to the vibration of the elements of the
Periodic Chart
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED.
It is not
necessary to hold qualifications however -
• People
working with the flowers should have a
genuinely
loving nature and a desire to help their
friends
and family.
• All
practitioners, especially those who are qualified in
spiritual
healing and counseling, would find this extra
dimension
to the patient consultation extraordinarily helpful.
• The
flower essences give the patient an awareness and
understanding
of their emotional stability and offer
immediate
and gentle harmony.
• The
flowers give vital information, especially about
allergens
and toxins, which then enables the
practitioner
to offer accurate advice and extra
therapy/supplementation
where required.
4. ELECTRICAL MUSCLE TESTING
Muscle
Testing is a means of assessing the energy flow through the musculo-skeletal
system. This simple method of testing is taught to all practioners during the
BIC in order that they may immediately put into practice what they have been
taught during the course.
Phytobiophysics®
respects that there are other disciplines that teach complex methods of
kinesiology. However, the Phytobiophysics® method is the use of the strongest
muscle, the deltoid, to evaluate the strength of energy flowing through the
system. When contact is made with an area in distress, the energy in the deltoid
dissipates. When the correct Harmoniser is administered, the energy returns.
2. THE INTRODUCTION TO PODO-RHACIDIAN MOBILISATION
THERAPY
Whilst
Podo-Rhacidian Therapy is a gentle non-invasive therapy, it must be understood
that treating a person without an understanding of the underlying cause
constitutes invasion. It is only when there is an understanding of the reasons
for the self-induced position that a correct remedy can be offered. Subsequent
treatment with Podo-Rhacidian Therapy would then be more effective. The
relevant antidotes must be used to fix the correction otherwise the person will
re-introduce the position immediately after the therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED.
• Basic
Anatomy and Physiology to ITEC or equivalent or
‘A’
Level Biology
• Training
in nursing or beauty therapy, a doctorate or
qualifications
such as
• Chiropractic/
Physiotherapy/ Osteopathic obviate the
need
for other qualifications.
• This
course is only open to practitioners who have one of the above qualifications and to practitioners who have attended a BIC.
5. GALVANOMETER
The
galvanometer is a professional and accurate means of testing the electrical
resistance of acupuncture points. It is a very advanced means of analysis;
however it requires patience and practice to perfect the technique.
During
all courses of The Mossop Philosophy, a very straightforward and simple method
of muscle testing is used to test the energy field. This method is tiring and
not particularly fast. However it does ensure that practitioners can
immediately use the philosophy whilst studying the galvanometer.
